Questions and Comments for School Committee
This form is one way for community members to share questions and feedback with the School Committee on an ongoing basis. The Committee will address as many questions and comments as possible verbally at the beginning of each regularly scheduled School Committee meeting.

***In order to allow sufficient review time before meetings, at least one member of the Committee will review all questions and comments received at least 24 hours prior to the start of each full Committee meeting. Questions that are not submitted 24 hours in advance will be addressed at the next regularly scheduled full School Committee meeting.***

Please note that questions/comments regarding specific students, families, and staff members should be shared via private emails with either the School Committee or the BPS administration and will not be addressed in this forum. Questions which are most appropriate for district employees to respond to will be directed to the appropriate staff person.

Additionally, in order to allow the full community to be aware of what questions and comments have been previously asked and addressed, a spreadsheet of prior questions will be posted on the School Committee webpage: https://www.belmont.k12.ma.us/bps/School-Committee.

We value input and hope that this form of communication will improve transparency in communications from the School Committee and provide more opportunities for two-way communication between Belmont Public Schools families, community members, and the School Committee.
