Lobo Rainforest I-Corps Application - Spring 2020
The deadline to apply to the Spring 2020 I-Corps program is February 9, 2020.

The program will run on Mondays, 4:30pm-6:00pm from February 24, 2020 - May 4, 2020 at the Lobo Rainforest Building.

Selected I-Corps site teams will receive a $3,000* award to assist with customer discovery and receive entrepreneurial training and guidance over 10 weeks to assess your idea’s commercial viability.

You are applying as a team that has at a minimum: an entrepreneurial lead (a UNM Student or Post-doc) and an academic lead (a UNM faculty member, staff, or advisor) with a STEM-related technology you wish to commercialize. We will pair you with an experienced mentor.

Please link (Google Drive, DropBox, Box.com, etc.) your preliminary budget for how you think you will use the $3,000 for customer discovery. Trade shows and/or conferences are an excellent opportunity to engage potential customers, the $3,000 is a great way to offset the cost of travel and fees while gathering indispensable feedback. Other ideas include costs for proof-of-concept prototyping, in town customer-discovery expenses, entrepreneurial training materials, etc.
