YSIC General Volunteers
The Youth STEAM Innovation Challenge (YSIC) is an interdisciplinary competition for junior high students that aims to foster creative thinking and teamwork skills.

The competition will be taking place on March 16, 2019 from 9:00AM-4:30PM. There are two volunteer positions available:

1. Task Facilitator Roles & Responsibilities:

- Manage the individual tasks for the event (explaining the rules and scoring)
- Ensure the tasks are performed in a safe manner
- Can volunteer full day or half day
- Work well under pressure and with punctuality
- Setup and clean up the tasks between groups, before and after the event
- Adding the scores on a collective Google Sheets file
- MUST bring a laptop*

2. Team-Leads Roles & Responsibilities:

- Guide the students around the building to and from their individual tasks
- Come up with icebreaker games to play with students as well as signs for your teams
- Need to be present for the whole event (from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm),
- Enthusiastic volunteers needed to ensure a fun and friendly environment
- Lunch will be provided
