Student & Educator Programs, Cradle to Career Alliance: Participation Application

This application serves as an agreement between the Partnership for Career Development (PCD) and you/your organization to participate in one or more Career Awareness Preparation (CAP) programs. CAP programs are offered in many occupations and formats. CAP programs are offered to, and attended by interested students and school personnel in PCD's participating schools. Through your support, PCD can provide Authentic, Relevant, and Quality CAP offerings that give attendees real-world information about career options.

I/we acknowledge that participation in the selected program/s is subject to availability and will be confirmed by PCD.

I/we understand that in the event of being unable to attend the program (except in cases of emergency), I/we are required to notify PCD a minimum of two weeks prior to the scheduled date.

If the scheduled individual from my organization is unable to attend, we are responsible for arranging an alternative presenter to represent the organization. If this is not possible, I/we will notify PCD at the earliest possible date.

I/we will provide an outline and/or description of the presentation and any materials to be distributed to assure content is relevant and appropriate for student audiences.

I/we will review the 3 minute video "Making High School Presentations Fun & Informative" (below) in preparation for my presentation.

Both parties agree to collaborate in good faith to ensure the success of the CAP program.

PCD will provide relevant program information, including dates, times, and any necessary materials or resources.

Your organization agrees to comply with the guidelines and instructions provided by PCD throughout the duration of the program.

This agreement does not create any legally binding obligations between the parties, but rather establishes a framework for cooperation and mutual understanding.

Media Release: By checking the box below I acknowledge that I/my organization is aware that this agreement will act as a media release and I approve use of my image and mention of my organization in PCD media and promotion.

PCD encourages and recommends sharing media alerts and posts before, during, and after student programs. Students attend with school blanket media releases at all PCD events unless otherwise noted at the event (uncommon).

Funding opportunities:

PCD has worked diligently to locate & secure funding so program presenters are NOT required to pay a fee to participate.
