Participation Application

This application serves as an agreement between the Partnership for Career Development (PCD) and you/your organization to participate in one or more Career Awareness Preparation (CAP) programs. CAP programs are offered in many occupations and formats and attended by interested students and school personnel in PCD's participating schools. Through your support, PCD can provide Authentic, Relevant, and Quality CAP offerings that give attendees real-world information about career options.

I/We understand that participation is subject to PCD confirmation and agree to review the presenter preparation video, submit presentation materials for review, and provide at least two weeks’ notice of cancellation (except in emergencies), arranging a substitute representative whenever possible.

PCD encourages and recommends sharing media alerts and posts before, during, and after student programs.

PCD encourages presenters to share their career journey and include a brief hands-on or interactive activity that helps students explore skills, tools, interesting facts, or real-world aspects of the profession. Interactive experiences are often the most engaging and effective for students. If you're new to our format, PCD can help. If you already have an activity in mind, please describe it below. *NEW*: Once every year, we now ask that all facilitators - new and long time partners - participate in a "pre-game" 15 minute Zoom call for event updates and preparation. This short call will help assure that you and the students have the very best experience possible. Look for the sign up in your confirmation email.

Impact report & student connection data

After your session, PCD can provide a program impact report along with available student contact data (name, school, and email, collected only from students with permission to share). This data is yours to use for follow-up, relationship building, and tracking your organization's community impact.

Any amount is appreciated. PCD is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit your contribution supports ongoing program development.
