2016 PETALUMA LIGHTED BOAT PARADE- Saturday, December 17

Skippers!
Kick off the holiday season by joining Petaluma Yacht Club’s flotilla!
Several thousand citizens line the shore to take in the spectacle.

We welcome vessels of all sizes! We NEED your lighted vessels of ANY SIZE!

New this year due to depth:
ALL VESSELS LARGER THAN 20ft and PYC fleet safety boats will leave the
Marina at 5pm. For safety we ask that ALL vessels that are not
leaving clear out of the open water in the Marina and 200 ft on either
side of the river channel to the marina to give clear access to first part of the
parade leaving the marina. Sea Scouts, then larger power yachts will start the parade
and sail boats and smaller power boats will follow. Be mindful of the
turning basin depths - arriving at the turning basin just before 6pm
will allow for 5ft+ leaving at 8pm is 2ft+.

ALL VESSELSS SMALLER THAN 20ft will leave at approximately 5:30 after
the first group has left safely. Larger power boat will be followed
by sail boats, canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. Please be prepared
to tie up on the docks opposite the yacht club and remember the larger
boats have limited visability due to the light decorations.

ALL VESSELS ARE ASKED TO MONITOR CHANNEL 68 ON HANDHELD MARINE RADIOS
REGARDLESS OF SIZE!

Please sign up each vessel individually. Expect an email with more detailed instructions closer to the event.
