It would not come anywhere near the vicinity of surprise for any practitioner who has set foot in a classroom to hear that every class is mixed-ability. This is, thankfully, a given in our EFL community nowadays. As committed professionals, we constantly seek to cater for all but, more often than not, we seem to lose our way in a labyrinth of academic bureaucracy and assessment requirements. This workshop aims at exploring differentiation strategies that can be easily incorporated in our classrooms and how assessment for learning can better equip us to accompany our students on their learning paths.
