Reducing Wasteful Packaging
We want to make meaningful change in reducing waste, especially plastic packaging. We have already stopped selling small sizes of plastic water bottles and added a water bottle refilling station for customers. Almost all of our customers bring in their own shopping bags or re-use our boxes. Thank you! We are considering the addition of even more Grab-N-Go items in reusable containers such as glass jars. Below are some questions regarding this goal.
When you shop our produce or bulk sections, how often do you bring in reusable containers or bags?
Would you be willing to pay a $1 deposit to have more Market Made Hot Soups and Grab N Go Refrigerated items in glass jars, with the option of returning them?
Please share your suggestions on how we can do more to reduce waste.
