This virtual professional development session will focus on equipping educators with the latest strategies for getting students and families to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) considering recent changes made by the US Department of Education. We will explore effective FAFSA Completion strategies at the district-level and school-level that support improved overall FAFSA completion outcomes for all students.

Get Ready/GEAR UP in the Minnesota Office of Higher Education is partnering with the National Postsecondary Strategy Institute (npsi.org) to host a professional development series for school administrators, counselors and teachers interested in improving postsecondary outcomes for all students.

NPSI's professional development model will engage participants in collaborative learning to help schools reimagine the postsecondary participation culture to drive student success. Continuing Education Credit are available.

The Get Ready/GEAR UP program is funded through the U.S. Department of Education and the Minnesota Office of Higher Education in partnership with Fridley, Robbinsdale, Saint Cloud, Hiawatha, Saint Paul, and school districts throughout the state.
