Brown Girl Lifted [info-sheet]
Brown Girl Lifted is an online zine that will feature carefully curated content that encapsulates what it means to be an intersectional feminist in today's trigger-happy, smart-phone generation For real, it's about intersectional feminism and borne out of my need to rant, and my desire to amplify the voices of my friends and peers whose narratives and stories are going tragically unheard. See (the current/rough draft) mission statement here:
I will accept submissions for art, writing, poetry, comics and other types of media content. I am also looking for people to help with web design, graphics and promotion! Much love, XOXO Aarushi
