The SOUL Corporate Basketball Challenge is our biggest fundraiser of the year! The proceeds from this event supports our youth in Washington DC.

The tournament will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025 at American University's Bender Arena.

Please look out for a confirmation email which will include your instructions for the day and a date for a volunteer orientation.

All day: 7am-5pm

Shift 1: 7am-11am

Shift 2: 10am-2pm

Volunteer Preference (Please choose multiple opportunities)

Runners - Assist with volunteers and players all day, ensuring the smooth operation (7am-4pm)

Event Setup - Assist with setting up of the spaces

Parking Aides - Assist with parking, greet guests outside to help direct parking and be ready to answer any questions

Player Check In - Register players, distribute jerseys, and forward teams to courts.

Guest Check In - Register sponsors, distribute VIP badges, greet guests and be ready to answer any questions

Food Handling - Monitoring breakfast and lunch table and distributing food to the players (9am-12pm)

Concession Stand - Sell food and snacks at concession stand

Table Host, Sponsor Check In + Welcome/Help Desk

Court Managers - Ensure player transition on and off courts in timely order

Score Keepers - Sit at the scorer's table to keep track of the score

Court Aides - Ensure referees, teams, and critical staff have resources on the court
