Adopting a puppy is a fun and rewarding experience. However, it is a much different commitment than adopting an adult dog. Puppies are babies and need to learn everything! Puppy adopters must be prepared for anything, including but not limited to the following:

• Housebreaking
  
• Chewing
  
• Crate training
  
• Leash training
  
• Puppy biting
  
• Puppy crying
  
• Puppy energy and all the things that simply go with puppies growing up. 
  

Please take this commitment seriously when considering whether to add a puppy to your family. Involve all family members in the decision, including canines, felines, and any other pets.

Previous greyhound or lurcher experience is highly preferred but not required for an application to be considered. All puppies in Greyt Angels’ care will be placed in homes according to the best fit for each, not on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Anyone applying to adopt a puppy from Greyt Angels, even previous Greyt Angels adopters, must complete both this Puppy Care and Spay/Neuter Addendum Form and Greyt Angels' Standard Adoption/Fostering Application Form.
