Please read the following to familiarize yourself with the mission and history of Boxville, the "Vendor Standards" section, Admission Criteria, and share more information about you and your business.

“Boxville”, located at 51st Street and the CTA Green Line, is Chicago’s first shipping container mall and street food market. Serving Bronzeville residents and visitors with a mix of everyday essentials and unique products, Boxville builds community while offering local entrepreneurs affordable spaces for building their enterprises.

Boxville is powered and operated by the Urban Juncture Foundation (UJF) team and is part of the Bronzeville Cookin’ community revitalization initiative. UJF is a social enterprise and 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to utilizing deeply-rooted cultural assets to promote commerce, create jobs, and rebuild community.

Vendor Standards:
- Agree to vend on Wednesday and/or Sunday during the following hours: Wednesday = 4-7pm / Sunday = 12-4pm
- Attendance and punctuality is extremely important to the overall success of Boxville as well as to each vendors
business. ALL vendors must be set up and ready to take their first sale no later than 15 minutes before the opening of market (3:45pm on Wednesdays and 11:45am on Sundays)
- ALL vendors must keep their area (including back area) clean and tidy and must leave their area clean and tidy after each market day
- Vendors must comply with Boxville Team directions in all matters relating to safety and sanitation
- Payment must be received prior to vending date

Boxville will provide vendors with the following:
- 4 ft. or 6 ft. table for setup space
- Unique Boxville atmosphere to attract customers
- Promotion through Boxville social media outlets

Admission Criteria:
● A complete and timely application.
● An understanding of and adherence to the Boxville mission.
● The vendor’s product knowledge and their ability to communicate it.
● Space availability at the market and the need for the vendor’s product.
● Priority is given to local entrepreneurs and community run businesses.
