Decent is excited to partner with the Dallas Farmers Market to curate an Artists Plaza during their First Friday Block Party on Friday, June 7, 6:00 – 9:00pm.

This will be a small scale, one-day pop up art exhibit for local artists and artisans to set up for direct sales.

Attendees will enjoy food and shopping options at The Market (which will have extended hours til 9pm), plus live music and our artist plaza outdoors in Pearl Plaza.

Vendor Load-in: 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm (Vendors must be set up 30 minutes prior to the event)
Vendor Load-out: 9:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Pearl Plaza is the outdoor area in front of The Market food hall. It is closed off to through traffic, with café string lights hanging above for a nice ambience.

There is room for (15) 10'x10' booth spaces. Some electricity is available, but it is limited. Lights for the last hour are recommended.

Total Vendors: up to 15

All spaces are outdoors.

10x10 Booth Space · $30 + sales tax
↳ 10 ft x 10 ft space marked for you
↳ We provide the space only. You provide your entire setup. You may utilize the entire space as you wish.
↳ Tent/Canopy is highly recommended but not required. Tents must be secured with 25lbs weights on each leg.
↳ Limited electricity is provided. You must provide up to 20 feet of power cord to reach our outlets. Electricity is for lighting ONLY. Lights for the last hour are recommended.

↳ If the event is cancelled due to rain or inclement weather, we may reschedule to the following month (Dallas Farmers Market will make this decision). You will be issued a credit that you can use toward vendor fees at any future Decent event, subject to acceptance criteria.
Selection Criteria
Up to 15 artists/vendors will be selected for this event.

Accepted Mediums:
↳ Painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, digital, furniture design, textile art, jewelry design, metal work, contemporary craft, pottery/ceramics, woodwork, and mixed media.

Mediums / items which may not be accepted:
↳ Apparel (screenprinted, handmade, vintage), Jewelry

Mediums / items which will not be accepted:
↳ Food or drink of any sort.

Artists/vendors who live or work in Dallas County will receive preference, but this is not a requirement.

Original works are preferred, but reproductions or prints of original work may be acceptable.
Admission is not guaranteed.
Filling out this form is not a guarantee of admission. We have limited space and try to curate the best vendors who we think will do well at the events.
