Background
Over the past year, millions of young people have been staging powerful school strikes around the world. Ahead of the big UN climate meeting, youth climate strikers are requesting the support of adults.

On Friday September 20, student strikers are asking people everywhere to walk out of their workplaces to spend the day demanding emergency action to tackle the climate crisis.

As science advocates, we commit to supporting our youth and organizing our labs, workplaces and communities to leave our work and research for a day to join the Global Climate Strike.
