to let us know, so we can open up a space to others. Spaces are limited.**
This is a free, full-day workshop, from 9am-5pm. Participants are expected to arrive on time and stay the whole day. The workshop will be addressing residential schools and may bring up strong emotions. Participants understand that their participation is voluntary.
**Please bring your own lunch, beverage/water bottle.** Morning tea/coffee/snacks will be available by donation, and there will be a 45-minute lunch break around 12pm.
About the Workshop:
During this experiential workshop, we will explore our personal role in supporting the revival of the values that worked so beautifully in Indigenous villages for thousands of years, as well as the effects of residential schools and Canada's policy of assimilation. This free full-day workshop is thought- and emotion-provoking, and geared toward solutions rather than recrimination.
Kathi Camilleri has a Master's in Leadership Studies and 23 years of experience in providing healing programs and consultation with aboriginal communities, health providers, social workers, governments and educators. Kathi is Cree/Métis, and her work has been inspired by Jann Derrick's teachings of "The Circle and the Box" and by many Elders' teachings.
