The School of Music, Theatre & Dance ushers contribute to the overall success of the performing arts at the University of Michigan. Ushers play a large role in the enjoyment and overall experience for the attending patrons - they’re often the first person a patron will meet. Typical tasks include greeting patrons, distributing programs, directing patrons to seats, assisting patrons with accessible needs, and occasionally scanning tickets. Once your ushering duties are over you are welcome to take a seat and enjoy the show. Ushering is a wonderful way to help the performing arts and see a performance for free!
