Wells Coronavirus Network Volunteer Database
Wells Coronavirus Network is a group of Wells-based Community Organisations who have decided to work together to help coordinate the community's response to COVID-19. We include the Connect Centre, Neighbourhood Watch, Sustainable Wells, Wells Community Notice Board Facebook page, Burcott Road Residents Association, Project Factory CIC and members of Wells City and Mendip District Councils.
We are gathering a database of all those people who feel they are in a position to help with the voluntary work that will clearly be needed in the coming days and weeks, such as ensuring that self-isolated people and the most vulnerable get the supplies they need at home, responding to calls from carers for assistance, helping with the Coronavirus helpline and more.
It is important at this stage that we have information about volunteers so that we can connect you to the volunteering activities that best suit your skills, schedule and preferences.
Safeguarding of those who need support is our priority and in some cases only those with relevant experience and DBS clearance will be suitable to volunteer.
