Patricia will look at the requirements of the customer service standard and will suggest how to flush out each requirement with either written documentation in the policy, or what should be included in training of staff or volunteers.
For example, welcoming service animals is a requirement. It is important to first note that service animals are allowed to enter any place where the public is allowed. Practices or measures would include a definition of a service animal under the Human Rights Code, what questions can be asked if unsure that the animal is a service animal, and what to do when the handler does not have control over the service animal.
