Student Leadership Opportunity Continues in 2024!
Would your K-12 student(s) like to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at a Chardon Board of Education Meeting?

How to Enter:
  • Parent/Guardian completes this form for their K-12 student(s).

  • Submit early with all your available dates to have more opportunities for a win!

  • Note:  2023 entries do not carry over - you'll need to re-enter the contest for 2024 meeting dates.

How it Works:
  • One entry drawn each month (except June & July), regularly rotating among the schools.

  • Parent/guardian notified of winning entry 1 week in advance.

  • Arrive to specified meeting by 6:20PM.

  • Meeting begins promptly at 6:30PM.

  • Student leads all in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance. Audience joins in after "I Pledge Allegiance..."

  • Student is presented with a Portrait of a Hilltopper certificate from Board President.

  • Student and family are welcome to leave after student recognitions or stay for entirety of meeting.
