Life as we know it has drastically changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. EOC had to pause our normal food and supply distributions, but pivoted to meet the needs of the greater community-- expanding our service base (unhoused, seniors, low income families, immune compromised) and efforts (daily delivery service, huge increase in fresh meals and produce). We are excited to announce a reimagined Feed the Hood is back-- drive up style, taking precautions against COVID-19.
Join us for a drive up supply drive in preparation to provide purchased individually packaged hot meals, hygiene and PPE kits to our unhoused brothers and sisters living curbside across Oakland. To ensure COVID-19 safety and physical distancing, we are not taking new volunteers to help setup or distribute the items, but are pulling from our current volunteer list of over 700 people. We hope the greater community can support us with providing essential supplies!

No, I'm unable to attend but would like to drop off my donations before the event.
Our goal is to provide 2,000 fresh and individually packaged hot meals ($10/each) and hygiene/PPE kits to our unhoused brothers and sisters. Please review ALL donation options and select ALL the items you can contribute and bring with you the morning of the event.
Option 1: $$ // I would like to make a monetary donation to assist with the pre-purchasing of food from local restaurants, chefs and caterers. Suggested donation is $25 or more ($25 = 2.5 meals).

Option 2: Non-perishable food items // I can bring one or more of the items listed below (check ALL that apply). Total quantities needed are listed to help us meet our goal of providing for 2,000 people.
Cases of water (total quantity needed: 125 cases)
Boxed drinks (total quantity needed: 300 boxes)
Boxes of granola bars (FULFILLED thanks to Clif Bars)
Bags of variety chips (total quantity needed: 100 packages- 30 count bag)
For the pets: dry dog food (portions pre-bagged in sandwich or quart sized bags)
Option 3: PPE + HYGIENE KITS // I can bring one or more of the following items (check ALL that apply):
Masks (disposable or cloth)
Gloves (sizes medium, large, x-large)
Hand sanitizer (mini to small size bottles preferred)
Toilet Tissue Rolls
Baby or Body Wipes
Mouthwash (travel/mini size)
Socks (total quantity need: 2,000 pairs)
