UC Berkeley Open Textbook Workshop application_Faculty & Lecturers
UC Berkeley Library is sponsoring an Open Textbook workshop.

When:   Dec. 8, 2017.  9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m
Location: Academic Innovation Studio (127 Dwinelle Hall)

Faculty are invited to apply by Dec. 1. Capacity is limited and open textbooks are not available for all subjects. Preference will be based on textbook subject area availability.

After the workshop, participants will be asked to write a short review of an open textbook. Your review will benefit other faculty considering open textbooks.

If selected, you will receive a $200 stipend for your participation and written review.

The Open Textbook workshop is a member benefit of UC Berkeley Library's membership in the Open Textbook Network, an alliance of schools committed to access, affordability, and student academic success through the use of open textbooks. The workshop is run by Sarah Cohen from the Open Textbook Network.
