This programme is open to M.Sc. (Physics or Chemistry) students of the 2025–2027 batch, i.e., those who are in the first year of their M.Sc. during the academic year 2025–2026 and will be entering the second year in 2026–2027. Students enrolled in integrated M.Sc. programmes may also apply, provided they will be in their final year during 2026–2027. Students who are currently in the final year of their M.Sc. (2024–2026 batch) are not eligible to apply.
Please read the instructions carefully before filling the form:
1. The form once submitted cannot be edited or resubmitted.
2. The last date for submission of application form by the candidates is 15th April 2026.
3. The applicants will get the acknowledgment of the successful submission in the email address provided by them.
4. In the questions where your B.Sc and M.Sc (first semester) marks are asked, you have to write the percentage marks. That means, in case you got the marks in percentile/CGPA, that needs to be converted into percentage marks.
5. In case M.Sc (first semester/first year) results are awaited, please write: "Results awaited" in the corresponding column.
6. Before filling the form, the candidate must be ready with a write-up on the topic
"Transport Phenomena: From Classical to Quantum Realm- My Perspective " . You will be asked to provide the same at the space provided in the end of this form.
7. The instructions for preparing the write-up are as follows:
(a) The Write-up should be in your own words. If it is found to be directly copy pasted from internet, it will be rejected.
(b) Make sure the write up does not exceed 1000 words.
(c) Figures and equations are not required.
