At BAD we are passionate about supporting medical students, doctors and wider healthcare professionals develop fulfilling careers. We have ran a national conference titled 'Developing Your Portfolio' since 2017 and supported career development for students and clinicians at all stages of their career.

BAD are now supporting the development of a dedicated career development platform which will house specialities such as primary care, surgery, psychiatry all the way to themes such as leadership, medical education, social media and start ups. We have an expanding number of areas as below.

We are providing ambassadors with a prioritised opportunity to be part of this exciting project which will see us work with organisations such as NHS England, GMC, WHO, Royal Colleges. Although there will be a national spotlight on things such as applying to surgical training or GP, we also aim to make this a global platform with opportunities around the world.

We are currently accepting applications to join the portfolio and careers project, there are opportunities to lead or join as a team member. If you have an area that is not listed below, you could also help create your own theme and we will support you to do this!
