The Nairobi Renaissance is a Black-centered learning space grounded in African American history, culture, and lived experience. Our gatherings are designed to affirm Black identity, support youth and families, and foster intergenerational learning rooted in respect and care.
All participants are expected to engage with:

-Openness to learning, reflection, and growth.
-Care for the emotional and physical well-being of children and families.
-A commitment to listening without defensiveness or debate.
We ask all attendees—regardless of background—to honor the purpose of the space and contribute in ways that support collective learning and belonging.
