This workshop offers classroom-ready activities and lesson plans aligned directly to the Common Core and State Essential Standards. It will focus on several unique aspects of agriculture with exploration of wheat, soybean, corn, and alfalfa, and cattle production. Teachers will leave better prepared to educate students and to help them understand the sources of their food and fiber native to their local school district. Wyant Farms is a 5th generation farm which began in the late 1800s.
