Track Change Request Form
Dear Parents,

We are using an online form for track change requests for the 2020-2021 school year. If you do not have access to a computer to complete this process, please contact Ms. Blankenship at lblankenship@wcpss.net or Ms. Hargrove at jhargrove@wcpss.net.

Please note that when you submit this form to BRES administration, you are indicating that you are seeking a track change for the 2020-2021 school year. While administration would like to grant all requests, state class size limits, keeping families together on the same track, and other variables must be considered when assigning students to tracks/classrooms. Please note that the K-3 average class size maximums for the 2019-2020 school year was 22 students. The individual grade level sizes vary based on the class size legislation phase in and may be smaller in number. We do not have the official class size maximums for 2020-2021 at this time, but wanted to collect information regarding these requests early.

Parents need to understand that this form documents a request for a track change for the 2020-2021 school year and does not guarantee a seat in a particular track.

The parent/custodian submitting a track change request acknowledges that both parents/custodians of this student are in agreement with this request being submitted. In cases where one parent/custodian has sole custody of the student, the person submitting this track change request acknowledges his/her legal authority to do so.

If you are requesting a track change, please complete a form for each child attending Banks Road Elementary School. The deadline for submitting Track Change Requests will be Friday, February 28, 2020. If you do not wish to request a track change, you do not need to complete this form.

You will be notified of your final track assignment for the 2020-2021 school year in the spring. If you have any questions, please call our main office at (919)890-7333. Thank you for your understanding and support.
