<div> hackathon, supported by MVMT50 and powered by the students of Huston-Tillotson University, is the only youth and diversity-focused annual hackathon, 100% organized and operated by students of color, in the United States. The <div> hackathon is supported by MVMT50, powered by Huston-Tillotson University and hosted at the East Austin campus. The focus of our two day (March 11 + 12) hackathon is to educate, engage and empower millennials of color to become creators, innovators, and disruptors of tomorrow’s technology.
<div> hackathon welcomes professionals and academics with a passion for youth, giving back and uplifting the next generation of industry thought leaders to become mentors for the two-day hackathon. Particular interest in business, education, entertainment, or health and fitness is appreciated and expertise or experience in the technology, media, creative, start-up or innovation sector is needed.
We are committed to being a part of the solution to the technology pipeline diversity problem and we hope you'll join us in our efforts by empowering the next generation of thought leaders.
