The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act 2004 (Vic) requires schools, so far as is reasonably practicable, to provide and maintain a working environment that is safe and without risks to health, including when work is undertaken by contractors, CRT's and volunteers.
All visitors, contractors, sub-contractors, agency CRTs and volunteers must undergo an induction prior to conducting works at our school.
Under the OHS Act 2004, CRTs, volunteers and contractors while at our school must take reasonable care for their own health and safety and the safety of others who may be affected by their actions or omissions.
