Multi-Purpose and Multi-Dimension Enterprise Governance of IT (EGIT) Maturity Model (MM) for MEA
Dear participant I am inviting you to participate in this research study. Participation is completely voluntary. There are no negative consequences, whatever you decide.

Introduction to the study
Enterprise Governance of IT (EGIT) is an important topic for the academic community and practitioners in the context of achieving the enterprise goals while keeping the cost as low as possible and the risk under acceptable level, especially in case of developing countries. Since its beginning IT has been playing the role of a supporting function in business for some time and in the last two decades it became a core or semi-core function as in many cases it can affect the business performance and achievements directly, while in other cases IT became the final product of the business. It should be controlled wisely to enable the organizations to handle changing business needs, the market competition, increasing regulations and tremendous cybersecurity attacks among others. To know how the organizations in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region lack an EGIT and compliance maturity model (MM), a questionnaire and a survey were developed and shared with a group of participants in the IT governance and related positions.

What is the purpose of this study?
I want to measure the importance of the EGIT in MEA region specially after the appearance of new regulations related to information security and privacy and to measure the need to have a new MM.

Remember, your participation is completely voluntary, and you are free to withdraw from the study at any time.
