First Friday Special Guest Sign Up: "Foodie Fest"
Generally, at our First Friday events in Downtown Lakeland, we do not allow exhibitors to sell food. For our April "Foodie Fest," however, we are inviting brick-and-mortar restaurants, mobile food vendors, bakers, and other food creators to sell their wares. We are looking for you to sell at least one "small bite at a small price"--small plates priced at $3 or less to encourage visitors to sample from lots of different vendors. You can sell higher-priced items in addition to your one small bite. We encourage food vendors in our community to join us for this specially themed First Friday event. The price for savory (or perishable food) vendors is $50. Baked goods vendors who follow cottage food guidelines can set up in the Makers Market (prices vary by zone). Downtown Brick-and-Mortar restaurants can set up at the event for free. Visit
for more details on the First Friday and Makers Market map.
