First Friday Special Guest Sign Up: "Foodie Fest"
Generally, at our First Friday event in Downtown Lakeland, we do not allow exhibitors to sell food. For our April "Foodie Fest," however, we are inviting brick-and-mortar restaurants, mobile food vendors, food trucks, bakers, and other food creators to sell their wares. We are looking for "small bites at a small price"--small plates priced at $3 or less to encourage visitors to sample from lots of different vendors. We encourage food vendors in our community to join us for this specially themed First Friday event. The price is $125 for a premium spot and $100 for a regular spot. Baked goods vendors who follow cottage food guidelines can also set up in the Makers Market in Zone 4 north of Bay St. on N. Kentucky Ave. for free. Downtown Brick-and-Mortar restaurants can also set up for free. Visit
for more details on the First Friday and Makers Market map.
