Apply for Open Stage Project's ACT 2 Program! This FREE program is for NYC high school girls, including cisgender and transgender girls, and non-binary students interested in behind-the-scenes careers in theater, TV, and film.
Selected students will attend Broadway shows with post-show talkbacks, go on field trips to production shops, and connect one-on-one with industry mentors. The program runs September-May with both in-person and virtual events.
What do I need to do to apply?
1. Fill out this application with your information and a little background about your experience and interest in behind-the-scenes jobs in theater, TV, and film
*NO prior behind-the-scenes experience is required!
2. Attend a group interview on Zoom where you'll learn more about our program and can share more about your interests. Interviews will be offered throughout the summer so you can pick the date that works best for you.
3. After your interview, write a short reflection on what you learned in the interview and what you hope to get from the program.
