Wolfson College Boat Club is happy to be able to help our members with some of the costs associated with boat club activities through the generous support of our sponsor and colleges.
Are you concerned about boat club costs coming through on your Battels? Or deciding whether to enter an external regatta but put off by the cost? Please do not hesitate to fill out this form as WCBC is here to support you and your full participation in club activities.
Some examples of the costs we can subsidise are:
- Termly subscription fees
- Regatta costs – entry fees, trailering, transport, British Rowing membership, etc.
- Racing uniforms – all-in-one/unisuit (amount covered may vary depending on budget constraints for that term)
What's not covered:
- Non-Essential Kit: such as hoodies, leggings, or other Wolfson apparel.
- Private coaching expenses
We understand each situation is unique, so if you have any questions about something being covered, please don't hesitate to reach out.
Any application will be reviewed with utmost discretion by the WCBC President and Treasurer and the Wolfson Common Room Administrator. Subsidy decisions are not influenced by how long you have been a member or your level of rowing. Subsidy is in the form of reimbursing after payment (receipt required), with the exception of boat club termly fees which we can waive proactively.
