1. A winner of a title may not compete again in the same division in which she holds a title, you must wait until you move up into the next age group.
2. Judges decisions are final. Score sheets will not be handed out after pageant.
3. If for any reason the winner is unable to fulfill her obligations, or for any reason which the pageant director deems unacceptable, they will relinquish their title immediately, and all privileges and prizes.
4. If for any reason, your permanent residence should change within your reign, privileges connected with the said title shall also be handed down to the first runner up.
5. Display of poor sportsmanship and/or unbecoming conduct, interference or disturbance, behavioral problem created by a contestant, parent, guardian, or relative could result in disqualification of the contestant not only from this year’s contest, but also from future contests.
6. Only contestant and one adult will be admitted into pageant free of charge.
7. Winner is required to attend next year’s pageant and crown new winner. If the winner is able to compete the following year in the next age division and if she chooses to enter, she will not be able to crown.
8. Dressing room will be provided for contestant.
9. ONE PERSON PER CONTESTANT BACK STAGE, so please do not get upset if you are asked to leave.
10. Only 1 parent/person is allowed backstage to assist each contestant with hair and makeup. Hair & makeup artists must be approved by the director.
11. Photogenic Photo (5x7 only) Must be a photo of the face only and submitted with entry form at the registration meeting.
12. All Contestants For Junior Queen and Fair Queen must be a resident of Sebastian County. All other divisions are open to anyone.
13. No refunds once the entry form has been submitted.
RULES - (Jr. Queen & Queen Divisions)
Private Interview (5 mins) – On Stage Introduction -On Stage Question - Evening Gown
1. Fair Queen Contestant must be 18-23 years old, a graduating high school senior, enrolled in post-secondary education, or non-pursuant of education; all Contestants must be no more than 23 years of age on the day of the local pageant.
2. Jr. Fair Queen Contestants must be 14-17 years of age regardless of grade you are in. If you are 17 and a senior, you are able to compete in the next age division.
3. A contestant must be a resident of Sebastian County 6 months before the pageant.
4. A current or past Sebastian County Queen titleholder is not eligible to participate. A Jr Queen titleholder is not eligible to compete again until she reaches the next age division.
5. Contestant must be a single female, never have been married or had a marriage annulled, the contestant can never have been, be pregnant or become pregnant during the reign.
6. Must be a US Citizen and never have been convicted of a felony offense.
7. If chosen as the winner, you agree to represent Sebastian County and compete for the title of Miss AR State Fair Jr Queen/Queen. The pageant will be held in Little Rock. Information will be provided to the winner by the pageant director. You must always be accompanied by a chaperone during the event of the fair and at any personal appearances when you are wearing a crown if under 18. (When making appearances, no jeans are permitted unless approved by the director.) The
chaperone should be a parent, adult family member over the age of 21. The winner will be responsible for her transportation to/from State Fair. If unable to attend, title will be removed, all scholarships and gifts forfeited, and 1st Runner Up will be crowned the new queen and attend state fair to compete for the title of Arkansas State Fair Queen.
8. If for any reason your permanent residence should change within your reign, privileges connected with the said title shall also be handed down to the first runner up.
9. In case of marriage, pregnancy, living with a man, or any reason the winner is unable to fulfill her obligations as the reigning titleholder, or any which the pageant director deems unacceptable of a winner, the titleholder will relinquish the title IMMEDIATELY, and all privileges connected with the said title, together with ALL prizes awarded to her, and runner up shall be awarded all prizes as if she were chosen winner (crown, sash, scholarship). She shall be succeeded by the next eligible
contestant.
10. Entrant agrees to abide by all rules of the Arkansas State Fair now in effect or as hereafter announced.
11. Illegal drugs, alcohol, and smoking will not be tolerated. If you have been arrested or charged with drugs or alcohol, or been treated for either, you will not be eligible to participate.
12. The winner will represent the Sebastian County to gain as much exposure as possible - visit schools, local civic groups, festivals, parades, etc. The winner will also return the following year to crown her successor.
13. Scholarships (in-kind & cash) will not be paid until the end of the reign.
14. Dressing rooms will be provided for the contestants.
15. Only contestants and one adult will be admitted free of charge to the event. Passes will be given at rehearsal.
16. Interview times will be emailed – you will arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled interview time in your interview attire (no jeans). Interviews will be held at the Greenwood PAC.
17. Photogenic Photo: (5x7 size only) Must be of the face only and submitted with entry form at registration.

The Following Divisions Are Open To Anyone Throughout The State
ELITE MS - Ages 24-34 Evening Gown / Interview / On Stage Question / Open to everyone
MS. – Ages 35-55 Evening Gown / Interview / On Stage Question / Open to everyone
SR. MS – Ages 56-75 Evening Gown / Interview / On Stage Question / Open to everyone

10. Community Service Award: All contestants are required to sell a minimum of 100 ticket chances (prizes to be announced) to help support the Sebastian County Fair Pageant Scholarship. Winner of drawing will be announced at pageant on July 27th. The contestant who sells the most chances will win $100 and be crowned the Community Service Award winner.
