27th Annual Big Sky Martial Arts Championships
We would like to invite you to the 27th Annual Big Sky Martial Arts Championships. This Annual Tournament is Invite only. With teams from Montana, Idaho, Washington, and Canada all providing the highest level of sportsmanship and athletics in the Northwest Montana and surrounding areas.

Date - Saturday November 8th. 
Time - Check in and Registration opens at 8:00am
Holding Times -
9:00am for all White - Sr Yellow Belts. 
10:30am for all Green - Sr Blue Belts. 
12:30 for all Red - Black Belts.
Location - The tournament will be held at Glacier High School, Kalispell MT. 375 Wolfpack Way, Kalispell MT, 59901.

The 27th Annual BSMA Championships will be using MTA Rules. 
Divisions are broken down by factors (Age, Weight, Gender, Belt Rank) 
Sparring: Double Elimination 3/4/5 Person Brackets
Body - 2 Points
Head - 3 Points
Spinning Body - 2 Points (Plus 2 Points Technical) 
Spinning Head - 3 Points (Plus 2 Points Technical)

Poomse: Double Elimination 3/4/5 Person Brackets
Superiority scoring is used for Poomse, majority vote wins the round.

All participants will be awarded a Poomse division as Sparring division to the best of our ability. Every athlete will be given the opportunity to compete.

*** There is a $5 entry fee for all spectators, the entire fee goes to help the BSMA Booster club ***

In return for the acceptance of my registration and application to compete in the BIG SKY MARTIAL ARTS INC. TAEKWONDO CHAMPIONSHIPS I represent the following: I understand that all sports contain inherent risks of injury, and that such risks may be minor, or may be severe, and may include infection, paralysis, or death. I also understand that Taekwondo is a body-contact sport and accepts the risks of injury or infection as a result of participation. I hereby waive, release and forever discharge, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, any and all claims I might have against the tournament organizers, director, officials, agents, representatives, successors or competitors, as well as any official of Big Sky Martial Arts or Kalispell School District, for any and all damages I may incur or sustain, for injury, medical expenses, and any other losses, while participating in this even, and for travel to and from this event. I have read the rules of the competition or have taken the opportunity to make myself aware of their content.  I understand them and agree with them in their entirety.
