Election Protection Program! Our work centers around strengthening our democracy by protecting Nevadans’ access to the polls, ultimately ensuring all of our voices are heard. To accomplish this, our campaign coordinates volunteers for poll observation shifts during election season in order to resolve election violations in real-time.

If you're wondering "what does poll observation entail?" we've got you covered! During a volunteer shift for our program, you would be completing the following tasks:- Monitoring length of lines, wait times and voter turnout at the polls
- Assisting voters by answering questions, providing support, & ensuring voters know their rights
- Resolving quick-to-fix issues regarding voter registration or ballots
- Monitoring and reporting instances of voter harassment or intimidation
- Updating your designated field captain on the overall experience at your assigned polling location
- Handing out provided water bottles and/or snack bags at polling locations with longer wait times
