Armour After Dark: Lake Town Stories 
Enter the virtual drawing to be selected to share your Lake Town Story at our live event on August 19 at 7:30pm. The theme for this evening is "Heat Wave."

The format is inspired by The Moth, and guidelines are listed below.

Tips and Resources for Prospective Storytellers 
  1. Stories should be inspired by the theme for the night: Heat Wave.
  2. Stories should be a maximum of 5 minutes. After a one-minute grace period, you will asked to stop…even if you’re mid-sentence!
  3. Stories must be true, about you, and involve some change or transformation from beginning to end.
  4. If possible, stories should be told without notes. It’s you, the mic, and the audience.
  5. Stories may be funny, serious, or a bit of both!
  6. Stories should have high stakes. Ask yourself, “Why is this story so important to me?”
  7. Have an attention-grabbing first line and a precise ending. Don’t meander!
