Survey on Sonification of Online Data Visualizations
About the study

This study is being conducted by a team of accessibility researchers at the University of Washington. Our goal is to assess the usefulness of sonification to make online data visualizations accessible.

(Sonification is the non-speech audio representation of visual data, sometimes also known as audio graphs. An example of sonification is provided at the beginning of the survey.)

This survey should only take about 10 minutes of your time and your participation in this study is entire voluntary. Your responses will help us in improving the accessibility of online data visualizations for screen-reader users.

You must only take part in this study if:
  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You use a screen reader daily to access information online
