The votes are in, and Los Angeles is our Spring 2027 orchestra trip destination- January 14-18, 2027!
The current estimated cost is approximately $2,800 per student based on quad occupancy (4 students per room). We are still waiting on pricing for quint occupancy (5 students per room), which should lower the overall cost. Additionally, if more than 35 people travel, the price decreases for everyone.
The estimated trip cost includes:
✈️ Round-trip airfare (Austin to Los Angeles)
🏨 Four nights at an Embassy Suites
🚌 Charter bus transportation throughout the trip
🍽️ Daily meals (breakfast plus lunch and/or dinner through meal stipends, gift cards, or group meals)
🎼 Orchestra masterclass and campus tour at a local college or university
🎻 Los Angeles Philharmonic concert and pre-concert talk
🎬 Universal Studios Hollywood
🏰 Disneyland & Disney California Adventure Park Hopper
🎥 Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood
🎡 Santa Monica Pier
🌟 Griffith Observatory
⭐ Hollywood Walk of Fame & TCL Chinese Theatre

The full itinerary is expected to be shared with students and families during Orchestra Camp, and the first trip payment will be due at that time. If your student is interested in traveling, now is a great time to start saving to help make this incredible experience possible!
We also plan to hold an online fundraiser this year to help support our orchestra program. Our hope is to dedicate a portion of the proceeds toward travel scholarships to help make this opportunity accessible to as many students as possible.
