Writing Boston's Future: Student and Educator Fellowship Application
The Boston Writing Project (BWP) and the Museum of African American History (MAAH) will reintroduce MAAH and the African Meeting House (AMH) to the community to deepen interest and raise public awareness about the AMH as a site for families, educators, students, and community leaders to engage the rich history of Black Bostonians and build towards a more just future. We aim to create new stories of today's multiethnic Black families in and around Greater Boston. This program invites you - whatever your age, whatever your role, to help transform the curriculum, teaching and learning, and community development by supporting writing growth around racial equity.

Complete and submit the application below to join us. You will take an inquiry stance to develop your focus and platform for your representation projects on the education of Black Bostonians. A closing ceremony will be held in August 2024 for you to share your work in progress. All materials will be exhibited and stored at MAAH. You will receive a stipend for all of your work.

Applications are due WEDNESDAY, January 3, 2024 at 5PM.
