Freezing your membership allows you to temporarily suspend billing during a period of nonuse while retaining your current membership rate.
Members may request a freeze if they do not plan to use their membership for a period exceeding thirty (30) consecutive days due to circumstances such as medical issues, extended travel, or seasonal absence. To be eligible for a freeze, the member’s account must be in good standing, with all outstanding dues paid in full prior to the freeze taking effect.
All month-to-month memberships share a universal billing date of the 24th of each month. Approved freezes will begin the day following the member’s next scheduled billing date.
Example: If a freeze request is submitted on June 1 and the next billing date is June 24, the freeze will officially begin on June 25 and continue through the approved end date.
The minimum freeze duration is thirty (30) days. The maximum allowable freeze period is four (4) months within a single calendar year. Once the maximum freeze duration has been reached, billing will automatically resume at the member’s regular rate.
