Please join the NY Metro Chapter of Physicians for a National Health Program, Students for a National Health Program, and members of the Social Medicine Residency Program at Montefiore in Albany for a statewide healthcare professional lobby day to advocate for the New York Health Act - the bill to guarantee healthcare to ALL New Yorkers (like Medicare-for-all for New York State!) The New York Health Act passed the Assembly in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 with huge majority support. Now that we have a Democratic majority in the State Senate, we have a real chance to guarantee healthcare for all New Yorkers. To do that, we need to pass it in the Assembly again this year and make sure the newly elected Democratic majority in the Senate knows how important this issue is to all of us and our patients. Let's get this to the Governor's desk and make health care equality a reality for New Yorkers!

11:30 am - Rally for the New York Health Act (Capitol)
12:30 - 3:30 pm - Meetings with legislators on the New York Health Act
4:00 pm - Buses leave Albany
7:00 pm - Buses return to Manhattan
