13th January 2019: Mass with Youth Ministers.
The mass of the 9:30 am on the 13th January 2019 will be a regular Sunday mass except that the regular ministries will be served by young people. We need volunteers (** in Year 7 and upwards **) to help with the following:
Welcoming and book distribution
Two or three volunteers can help welcome everyone to mass and distribute the hymn books, Sunday newsletters and mass cards.
Readings
First reading, Psalm and Second reading. These have to be read by those who have been confirmed or are in the the process of receiving confirmation.
Petitions
In the Prayer of the Faithful the community is invited to pray for the concerns of Church and the world. One or more young people can help in reading these and also writing some petitions particularly oriented to the young.
Offertory
Five people are required to pass the collection baskets through the different sections of the Church. Three persons will help in the presentation of the gifts, taking bread and wine from the back of the Church to the Altar.

Your answer
If you would like to read, remember you need to be confirmed or being in the Confirmation course. There will be preparation by other ministers before the mass.
