Rainbow Families 2020 Conference - Workshop Proposal
Thank you for your interest in being a workshop presenter at our 2020 Annual Family Conference & Gathering. This will be a meaningful conference, especially given how rapidly things are changing in our world which can affect our families and our community. We're delighted to have you with us, and to share in this opportunity to connect and inspire our community.

Workshops are a cornerstone of the Rainbow Families Conference. Here is an opportunity to educate, inform, connect, and engage, based on your profession, area of expertise, or services provided to our community.

Presenters are encouraged to propose topics related to every aspect of LGBTQ+ families, including LGBTQ+ parents, future/expecting LGBTQ+ parents, LGBTQ+ youth, diversity, inclusion, etc.. We ask you to consider a format which allows maximum participant engagement, like round table discussions, facilitated panels, or question/answer sessions. Workshops should be reflective and inclusive of the diverse LGBTQ+ family/parenting community, including community members who identify as bisexual, transgender and people of color.

Our theme this year is, "Our Families, Our Future". We hope this theme inspires hope, a call to action, a greater sense of community, and continued education on matters facing LGBTQ+ families.

NOTE: Submission does not guarantee inclusion in the conference. All workshop proposals will be reviewed by the programming committee, who reserve the right to elect not to proceed, and/or request that presenters adjust their workshops to better align with the conference goals, and/or to request presenters collaborate with each other should multiple workshop proposals of the same topic be submitted. We reserve the right to use our discretion with regards to all proposals submitted.

This is a beautiful community service opportunity for you or your organization.
Thank you, Darren Vance - Executive Director
