Community Impact Scholarship

The Hudsonville Area Chamber of Commerce is a business hub for leaders to learn, connect, and grow.

One of our core values is fostering a "vision for growth"—a vision that encompasses all businesses, both current and future. With this in mind, we believe it's essential to invest in and mentor the next generation of workers, business owners, and community leaders.

To support this vision, we are excited to offer two, $1,000 Community Impact Scholarships in the spring of 2025.

Criteria:

  • 2.5 or above GPA
  • Must attend either Unity Christian or Hudsonville Public Schools
  • Graduating in May 2025

Additional documents needed from each applicant (email to Lindsey Hicks at lhicks@hudsonville.org):

  • GPA
  • Character reference letter (from someone who the individual worked in the community with or for).
  • One professional reference letter (question: "How did this individual make a difference in their community"). No family members.
Timeline:
  • Application open January 1st, 2025.
  • Application closes March 31st, 2025.
  • Winner announced in May 2025.
Award:
$1,000 toward post-secondary credits or a certificate in a trades industry.
