Minorities and Philosophy Mentorship Program
Loyola Philosophy graduate students have started a chapter of Minorities and Philosophy (MAP)! As part of our MAP chapter, we are starting a mentorship program for students from underrepresented groups in philosophy. Undergraduate students in the program will be paired with graduate student mentors. In addition to general mentorship—assistance and advice in navigating the university and philosophical discipline—students in the program will be encouraged to participate in MAP events such as talks, film screenings, lunch/dinner meet ups, and more!

To be assigned to a philosophy graduate student mentor, you must be (1) a current undergraduate at Loyola with an interest in philosophy and (2) self-identify as part of an underrepresented group.

For more information, visit the MAP website (http://www.mapforthegap.com) or email Rebecca Valeriano-Flores at mvalerianoflores@luc.edu.
