The course is open to everybody who is motivated to learn and practice the Vajra Dance.
Vajra Dance is a meditative method for practicing that uses movement and sound for integrating the three aspects of our existence - body, energy and mind in the knowledge of our real nature. Because "vajra" refers to the true condition of all phenomena including our real state. The Dance is performed on a big mandala which represents the interconnection and correspondence of inner and outer dimension, individual and cosmic level.
Through the practice of Vajra Dance we can harmonize our energy and discover how to be deeply relaxed - at the level of our body, energy and mind. Once we have become familiar with this contemplative state we can easily deal in our everyday life in a more calm, relaxed and mindful way.
Vajra Dance belongs to the cycle of Longsal terma Teachings of the world renowned Dzogchen master Chögyal Namkhai Norbu and it is inseparably linked to the Transmission of his Dzogchen Teachings.
Since 2011 the Dance of the Vajra has been associated with the CID, the International Dance Council, founded in 1973 by UNESCO.
