2024 Harleysville Travel Baseball Tryouts
Harleysville Baseball has a long-standing tradition of having one of the top travel programs in the area.  Our focus is on player development through training and competition at an organized and highly competitive level.

Harleysville Baseball will be holding tryouts in January for the teams at the 9U - 12U age groups (tryouts for the 8U team will be held in late March or April).  This year we will be holding the 9U - 12U travel tryouts at All Sports Center (ASC) in Collegeville on Saturday, January 13th and Saturday January 20th.

7:30 - 9:00 pm:   11U and 12U

It is not necessary to attend tryouts on both dates, however attendance at one of the sessions is required.  If there are any questions or issues regarding tryouts, please email president@harleysvillebaseball.org no later than January 12, 2024. 

We encourage ALL kids interested in playing extra baseball above and beyond the Spring rec season to attend tryouts.  If enough players tryout in an age group to field two teams, our intention would be to have two travel teams for that age group.

Parents are required to pre-register below for tryouts so we can organize the tryouts based on the number of participants registered. 

Parents will not be allowed to remain in the facility during the tryouts.  

What is Travel Baseball?  Travel Baseball is an extension of the regular rec season.  Teams 9U and older form in early Spring and begin practicing as soon as the weather permits.  During the Spring rec baseball season, practices are typically limited to one per week on Wednesdays with scrimmages on Sundays.  The travel tournament season begins after the Spring rec season ends and will include 4+ tournaments that kick off on or shortly after Memorial Day Weekend and end in late July.  Most tournaments are local and within 45 minutes of Harleysville.  The cost for travel baseball varies by age group, but generally runs around $300.  Harleysville Baseball does have funds available to help if a child/family needs financial assistance.

Parents MUST complete the ASC Waiver below or your child will not be permitted to tryout.  If possible, please bring a signed waiver to tryouts.  There will be waivers available at the facility for anyone not able to print and sign in advance.


If your child is registered but unable to tryout due to sickness or unforeseen circumstances, please reach out to the president and travel coach prior to the scheduled tryout to make arrangements.
