Camp Section
Camps will be held across our campus, both inside and out, providing your child with the most unique opportunities to learn and have fun while doing it.
Calling All Wizards and Muggles
Headmaster Laughton will be opening the doors this summer for one special week only looking for the strongest and brightest Wizards and Muggles to attend. If you choose to accept this great honor, your training will include, but is not limited to: Potions (chemistry/STEM/STEAM experiments); Herbology (gardening); Quidditch (games and activities); Charms (arts and crafts); Care of Magical Creatures (daily visits with local pets); Trips to The Leaky Caldron (cooking). So grab your wand, and your broom, and head to station 9 ¾ to prepare for an experience you’ll never forget!
Wacky Sports and Olympic Week
Do you want to be able to run faster, jump and kick higher and be stronger than you ever have before? Then this is the camp for you. We will be teaching the fundamentals and playing all of your favorite sports and activities including: Baseball, Basketball, Gymnastics, Soccer, Football, Pilates, Yoga, Karate, Frisbee Golf and more. In addition, we will be training for a decathlon which will take place on the last day of camp. An awards ceremony will follow and all parents are invited to come! The camp is designed to introduce a variety of physical activity in a noncompetitive environment, to help nurture and foster confidence while also providing an endless amount fun and excitement!
Mad Scientist Week
Does your child love building something incredible out of everyday items like bottles, tape, toilet paper rolls and anything else most people throw away? How about Legos...adults see little plastic pieces that inevitably get stepped on or clog the vacuum but your child sees an empire. Is your child addicted to the computer and video games? We can turn that addiction to one of the most promising skills of today by learning how those programs are designed. Your child will spend a challenging and very rewarding week of building and blasting their little inquisitive minds off. Activities include Coding, Mbots, LED Circuits, Lego/K'nex Engineering, Makerspace Creative Designs, 3D printing, Paper Roller Coasters, Volcanoes, and Manufactured Slime- Oh My!!
Camp Adventure and Exploration
Come join us for a week of travel and fun! Maria Montessori will be our guide as we circumnavigate the globe. With their own passport and compass in hand, our explorers’ journey will take them to Safaris in South Africa, Archaeological Digs in Ancient Egypt, Geocaching and Treasure Hunting through the Sahara Desert, Jungle Survival Courses in the Amazon, and much, much more. Along the way, they will be learning about the cultures and traditions of the areas they are visiting and sampling the foods as well as speaking the languages of the locals. Our explorers will keep daily logs and photo documentation of all of their amazing experiences. Book your tickets today!
The Wonderful World of Imagination
Each day will bring a different opportunity to explore the beautiful depths of imagination and an opportunity to showcase his/her own creativity. From swordfights to tiara twirls and everything in between, campers will soar through yellow brick road agility courses, dance the halls of prince and princesses, and create their own fairy tales of heros and heroins. All campers will create their own super cape and will come away with a stronger sense of their own super power through team and individual confidence building activities. Monday: SuperHeroes and Princesses; Tuesday: Ninjas and Warriors; Wednesday: Pirates, Mermaids and Mermen; Thursday: Favorite Book Character; Friday: Create Your Own!
