The intent of the following 3 questions is to reduce the risk of abuse in any form on the JesusCares/Groundwire response mechanism. It is designed to protect those to whom we minister, as well as to uphold the personal dignity of all who would be involved in serving them.

Time Commitment: Online Coaches commit to serving an average of 2-4 hours per week, and we ask that you apply that to your training commitment as soon as you learn you are accepted into the Groundwire Training Academy. We realize that schedules can change, and you are not committing to a set time each week, but please list 3 blocks of time that you plan to set aside for training and coaching each week. *

As we engage with seekers, coaches do not offer specific prophecies or words from the Lord for the chatter (outside of direct quotes from Scripture). We do not interpret dreams or make promises for God that He has not made in Scripture. We will not introduce issues of demonic deliverance into the chat, and if the chatter brings it up, we encourage them to speak with a pastor in their community to work through that. Groundwire Coaching Agreement
In order to move forward in the process of becoming an online Spiritual Coach, we need you to agree to our terms and conditions. By checking the box below, you agree to the following statements:

As I learn the full requirements and responsibilities of ministering as a Groundwire Spiritual Coach through coach training, I will attempt to follow up and alert Staff of any communicated requirements that I will not be able to fulfill as a new coach.

Upon completion of training, I agree to abide by all established policies and procedures; otherwise, I will not be considered.

All communication between the chatter and coach will be limited to the ECHO chat software. No personal contact information (personal eMail, address, Facebook, phone number, WhatsApp or any other external messaging application) will be shared with people who contact Groundwire, even if they request to be contacted in this manner.

I understand that all ministry activity is recorded and subject to review and that all chat transcripts and Groundwire emails exchanged on our chat platform, and all communications exchanged with any Clients on other partner platforms are the property of Groundwire.

I understand that as a Groundwire Coach, I may also be acting as a representative of other Partner Ministries and will always communicate in a professional and Christ-like manner.

I understand that all chats, chat transcripts, and text messages sent to and received from Clients are the property of Groundwire and may not be shared in whole or in part in writing or in any digital format without the express written consent of Groundwire. I further understand that when I share verbally with others about my experiences as a Groundwire coach, I may not share any personal details about the Clients I interact with or whose interactions with other Groundwire staff I observe.

I also understand that participation in this ministry is voluntary and that any deviation from the policies and procedures may result in dismissal as a coach.

The information contained in this application is correct to the best of my knowledge. I acknowledge that a printed copy of this electronic submission shall be valid as the original. I authorize Champion Ministries/Groundwire to conduct a background check (NOT A CREDIT CHECK and NOT USING YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, which we will not request and do not want) to determine my ability to minister to teens and/or adults as a Spiritual Response Coach or Groundwire staff member. THE FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT, also known as Public Law 95-508, requires us to advise you that a routine inquiry may be made into your background which will provide applicable information concerning character, general reputation, personal characteristics and mode of living. Further information on the nature and scope of such report, if one is made, will be provided upon written request. Any offer of employment or volunteer work is contingent upon successfully passing a background check. I authorize, without reservation, any law enforcement agency, institution, information service bureau, school, employer, Church, non-profit organization, reference, insurance company contacted by Champion Ministries dba Groundwire or its consumer reporting agency or its agent, to furnish the information described above. I release all such references from any liability for furnishing such evaluations to you, provided they do so in good faith and without malice. I understand that if any of the above records contain information which is used to deny my involvement as a Spiritual Response Coach and/or Groundwire staff member, that I will be notified of my rights and where I can obtain a copy of the information.
