Midwest Symposium on Ecologically Informed Theological Education: Implications for Teaching, Learning and Seminary Life
The Midwest Symposium on Ecologically Informed Theological Education: Implications for Teaching, Learning and Seminary Life will be held Oct. 17 and 18 on the campus of Methodist Theological School in Ohio. This symposium will bring together key faculty, staff and administrators from seminaries and theological schools throughout the Midwest to explore how theological education can address our ecological reality. Students also are welcome to join us, with their institutions' support.

We are able to offer this opportunity at no cost to invited participants, thanks to a generous grant from the Luce Fund for Theological Education and additional support from the Julia Burke Foundation. We will provide lodging, travel reimbursement and meals featuring delicious farm-to-table fare from MTSO's Seminary Hill Farm and other local sources.

The keynote speaker for the symposium will be Dr. Lonnie G. Thompson, a Distinguished University Professor in the School of Earth Sciences and a Senior Research Scientist in the Byrd Polar Research Center at The Ohio State University.
